Scoopler looks at all the content people are sharing across real-time services like Twitter, Digg, Delicious, Flickr and more. We then rank all this content by recency, popularity and authority to continuously deliver the most up-to-date results available on the web.


About the Company


Scoopler is a San Francisco based startup, whose investors include Y Combinator, Ron Conway, Michael Birch and Avalon Ventures. Since launching in May 2009, we have been consistently named as one of the top 3 real-time search engines. We have been featured in many publications including TechCrunch, Mashable, CNet, CNN, The FT and The Telegraph.


Who we are



  • AJ Asver

    Scoopler is AJ's second start-up as he was previously co-founder and Managing Director of ClickUni (now GroupSpaces), a tool for clubs and societies to manage their memberships. AJ holds a degree in Computer Science from Oxford University.

  • Ben Tauber

    Before joining Scoopler, he was a Product Manager of Platform, Ops and SaaS for Connect Pro at Adobe. Prior to that he worked in biotech writing apps to search the human genome for new hormones. He holds a degree in Computer Science from UC, San Diego.

  • Dilan Jayawardane

    Prior to founding Scoopler, Dilan worked at Oracle, Inc as a member of the RDBMS team. Prior to this Dilan prototypes one the world's first location aware surround-sound systems to always optimize for where you are standing. He holds a degree in Computer Science from MIT.
